8 oz Double Wall reUUSI
Produced with the unique mineral EarthCoating®, here’s an eco friendly coffee cup that can be pulped in conventional paper processing plants – all with the same high-quality customised printing, insulation and waterproof barrier properties of regular printed paper cups.
Recyclable paper coffee cups with EarthCoating® break down easily and can be accepted into regular waste recycling streams, as the non-paper coatings are easily stripped out along with other non paper waste in the pulping process.
A strong two-layer structure with isolating air gap gives impressive insulation to either hot or cold drinks and protects hands without the need for sleeves.

Here are a list of the most common questions we receive about re|UUSI. For additional questions, please give us a call.
Got Some Questions? We’ve Got Answers.
1. Does CupPrint suggest specific dimensions and colour specifications for designs?
Dimensions can vary slightly depending on the design. Typically it works best to upload a high-resolution vector file (.ai, .pdf, or .eps).
For colours, Pantone measurements are best. Providing Pantone specifications allows CupPrint to highlight colours on your custom printed cups most vibrantly. We also accept CMYK references if Pantone specifications are not available.
For double wall cups, we can print in uncoated (matte) or coated (gloss) Pantones. As such, please make sure to specify if submitting a Pantone reference number (usually #U reference denotes uncoated and #C reference denotes coated).
2. Do you ever accommodate rush orders?
While our 15-day minimum lead time is a “record-setter” in the industry, we like to continually challenge ourselves! Call us at +49 800 28777468, e-mail us at email@example.com, or send us a message on social media or via our website chat to inquire. In your communication, please provide your target delivery date. We try to accommodate such special requests! (Please note that rush orders are subject to additional fees, including additional delivery fees.)
3. Is it possible to order samples? If so, what is the delivery time?
We’re happy to send samples. Our sample boxes are a random assortment.
If you would like a pre-production sampling of your personal design please contact us.
4. After I submit my design brief online, when will I receive my proof?
It typically takes 2-3 business days to generate a proof.
5. Do lids need to be purchased separately?
Yes, we consider these a separate purchase – but ordering is easy! Just click here.

Paper cups made with EarthCoating® are available through licensed manufacturers of Smart Planet Technologies
EarthCoating® is a new paperboard barrier coating made of minerals and plastic (Calcium Carbonate and Polyethylene) By using EarthCoating® to create paper cups they become valuable to collect and easy to pulp into recycled paper using conventional recycling equipment. They also use 44-51% less plastic than traditional paper cups.
Paper cups are not accepted as recyclable because of the difficulty paper recyclers have processing plastic-coated paper cup stock through their paper recycling equipment. The plastic is used to seal the cup during production and to keep the liquid from leaking through the paper. In order for paper cups to be labeled as “recyclable” in the U.S., over 60% of municipalities around the country need to accept them for recycling. In many EU countries this is changing and many more facilities are working to process plastic lined cups. Our recyclable range can be processed by any European pulping plant in stream 13.
Sustainability claims for paper cups made with EarthCoating® vary based on what type of resin is being used. For example, paper cups made with EarthCoating® EC-51 (a blend of 51% minerals and 49% low density Polyethylene) are not compostable because of the petroleum-based plastic used in the coating. However, if we mineralize a bio-resin, we’re able to meet the necessary criteria to make compostability claims.
Paper cups made with EarthCoating® look, feel and perform the same as traditional paper cups. However, traditional poly-coated paper cups are too difficult for paper recyclers to process through their conventional recycling equipment because of the 100% plastic coating used to make them. Paper cups made with EarthCoating® may be easily pulped into recycled paper using conventional paper recycling equipment and they use 44-51% less plastic than traditional paper cups.
No, unlike other “green” paper cup alternatives, paper cups made with EarthCoating® are within a 5% price range compared to traditional paper cups (a small price to pay for a paper cup that’s engineered to be recyclable and uses 44-51% less plastic than traditional paper cups).

The following points must be observed in order to guarantee error-free cup production:
- Please use only our templates for your 8oz Double Wall re|UUSI designs
From time to time there may be some adjustments in our templates so please always use the latest directly from our homepage before you start with your design.
- It is important that the bleed only area and non-printable area is observed. No relevant content should be in the bleed only area; it won‘t be visible on the nal cup. Additional to that, images must be positioned around the die cutter featuring at least 3 mm of bleed trimming.
- Images may not feature a resolution of less than 300 dpi.
- Since colour options do not possess a foodstuffs certi cate, colours are applied and printed exclusively in 4C. Thus, the colour on the cup will look different to Pantone colour.
- Black should be set to overprinting; black elements may only be added in 100% K (possibly 60/0/0/100 for deep black as required) in order to rule out pass imprecision during printing.
